Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners

There are immediate openings for Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners in Falls Church, Virginia. These positions will assist the Air Force Surgeon General’s Office in development and implementation of the Air Force Medical Service’s Clinical Optimization Military Provider Satisfaction Strategy (COMPASS).

Responsibilities

Will provide subject matter expertise in support of COMPASS implementation. COMPASS workflow uses clinical team documentation, coding algorithms, and input forms to reduce time spent by providers writing clinical notes, while improving readability of those notes.
Will assist military staff in the development, standardization, and streamlining of the workflow processes that support clinical documentation.
Will instruct military clinicians and staff on enhanced COMPASS workflow techniques allowing them to incorporate these techniques into their daily routines.
Will travel to numerous Air Force Military Treatment Facilities in support of COMPASS implementation (50% Travel).

Qualifications

Certified and Licensed as Physicians Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
Past experience in the Military Health System (MHS).
Past experience in the use of AHLTA, the military’s electronic health record.
