Accelerating Change and Transformation in Organizations and 
Networks (ACTION) 


IWA is a subcontractor to The CNA Corporation on an Accelerating Change and Transformation in Organizations and Networks (ACTION) award from the Agency for Health Research and Quality (AHRQ).

ACTION awardees engage in rapid cycle tasks and activities that vary according to the scope of work of each individual task order which include:
 

Needs assessments for demand-driven and evidence-based findings, tools, products and strategies, particularly those identified by delivery system operational leaders and champions (clinical and managerial) who are making critical decisions and managing change;
 
Timely applied research in those key areas;
 
Evaluation of interventions and strategies to demonstrate improvement in the quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness of U.S. health care delivery;
 
Dissemination and uptake of demand-driven and evidence-based products, tools, strategies and findings with activities that may also include assisting AHRQ in exploring new strategies and tools to achieve the programs' goals.
